Alright! Leah’s dress is finished. It looks good from the outside, but from the inside… blargh. Regarding my usual standard of costume making this is a really embarrassing result. I’m not happy the way it turned out. Luckily the long wig covers a huge part of the dress…

Next Step: Making bones for the wig from styrofoam.

So here’s a quick WIP shot of Leah right before I go to sleep.
As you can see the dress is almost finished. Only the collar and the lacing at the back is missing. (I decided to go for lacing instead of a zipper because it suited the style of the costume much better.)

On the smaller picture you can see the silver braid along the hem of the dress and one of the small pendants I’ll add to it later.

Working on Leah… The skirt is already finished.

Ladies and Gentlemen - It’s DONE! Robin is FINISHED!

I feel so colourful! And retro! I can’t wait to debute it at Kapow! Con in May! :D
Despite the other DC costumes I’ve done before this is the first time I actually feel like a real comic character! Whohoo! :D

Robin WIP Picture No. 3: Utility Belt.

The costume is almost finished! Only the Robin “R” on the tunic and two buttons are missing!

Robin - WIP Step 2: Tunic 85%; Gloves 100%; Trousers (Not on this picture!) 100%.

Tomorrow I’ll take in the tunic and attach all applications to it. Afterwards I’ll focus on the cape…
