COHAKU is a new German cosplay (print) magazine which comes out every three months. It especially focuses on tutorials and how-to’s.
This issue’s motto is “Magical Girls”. You can find tutorials on how to make a pleated skirt, how to make a Sailor Moon tiara, how to create a special hairline on a wig and how to properly use contact lenses in there!
You can order COHAKU in the official ONLINE SHOP. The team ships worldwide. You can also find them on:
Support this project and/or become one of their authors as well!

Front and back view of the fully embroidered Rapunzel skirt. It took me a couple of months to finish it, but I’m really proud of myself and happy about the way it turned out. I will try to upload pictures of better quality tomorrow morning!

It’s been a while since I posted something here, but I thought it would be cool to update my Tumblr blog more regularly again.
I’m using my few days off to finish a couple of costumes and to build a couple of props. Currently I’m working on Rapunzel! In the past days I did nothing but embroidering… and I’m finally, finally getting there! Only a couple of ornaments more!

I made the pattern completely myself. It took me about 6 - 7 tries with leftover fabric until I got the top of the dress right. It’s a bit tricky, but if you’re patient I’m sure you figure out a pattern for it as well. :)
