Front and back view of the fully embroidered Rapunzel skirt. It took me a couple of months to finish it, but I’m really proud of myself and happy about the way it turned out. I will try to upload pictures of better quality tomorrow morning!

It’s been a while since I posted something here, but I thought it would be cool to update my Tumblr blog more regularly again.
I’m using my few days off to finish a couple of costumes and to build a couple of props. Currently I’m working on Rapunzel! In the past days I did nothing but embroidering… and I’m finally, finally getting there! Only a couple of ornaments more!

iamlordmoldyshorts asked: Evening! I'm semi-new to cosplay, so please bear with me here. I've been scouring the internet for months, trying to find a pattern for a Margaery season 3 dress. Yours is completely stunning! Did you use a pattern or do you magical sewing prowess?

I made the pattern completely myself. It took me about 6 - 7 tries with leftover fabric until I got the top of the dress right. It’s a bit tricky, but if you’re patient I’m sure you figure out a pattern for it as well. :)

When you put a costume on and you’re a bit like: “I don’t know if I want to wear that…” :/
